Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, this full-day adventure lets you experience the art of fishing like the locals do, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
The day begins with a comfortable ride from your accommodation to a secluded island tucked away in the fjords. A short safety briefing ensures you're ready to set off on the water, where you’ll be introduced to the basic techniques of traditional fishing. Depending on the weather, you’ll be fishing in carefully selected spots, with the possibility of venturing out into the open sea for a truly wild experience.
Throughout the day, we’ll provide lunch packs and drinks to keep you refreshed as you enjoy the serenity of the fjords. After a successful day on the water, we'll head back to shore, where you’ll learn how to clean and prepare the fish using traditional methods. Your day ends with a hearty meal of fresh fish soup, followed by a delightful dessert of Norwegian waffles.
To make your experience even more enjoyable, we offer comfortable accommodation through Airbnb, so you can fully relax and soak in the beauty of the region after a day of fishing.

Nordic Catch – Daily Schedule
09:00 – Transport from accommodation to the marina
Guests are picked up from their accommodation and driven to the marina.
09:45 – Arrival at the marina, safety briefing & gear preparation
Upon arrival, we’ll go over essential safety information. Guests receive appropriate fishing clothing and gear, followed by boarding the boat.
10:00 – Departure from the marina & start of fishing
We head out into the fjord to begin the day’s fishing adventure, with potential to explore the open sea depending on the weather and conditions.
10:00 – 15:30 – Fishing session
Enjoy several hours of fishing in carefully chosen locations, with guidance from experienced hosts. Lunch packs and drinks are available on board to keep you energized.
15:30 – Return to marina & fish preparation course
Back on shore, guests take part in a short, hands-on session on how to clean and prepare the day’s catch using traditional methods. The fish is then grilled, cooked, or otherwise prepared depending on the catch.
16:00 – Dinner
Time to relax and enjoy a freshly prepared meal featuring the catch of the day, traditional fish soup, and Norwegian waffles for dessert.
17:00 – Transport from marina back to accommodation
After dinner, guests are taken back to their accommodation.
18:00 – End of tour
The day wraps up with a head full of memories and a taste of true Norwegian coastal life.

Fishing Gear and Clothing: You don’t need to worry about equipment – we’ve got you covered with all the necessary fishing gear and weather-appropriate clothing. Our guides will make sure you’re fully prepared for a great day out.
Lunch Packs and Drinks: While you’re out on the water, we’ll provide tasty lunch packs and drinks to keep your energy up and your spirits high.
Quick Course in Fish Preparation: After a successful day of fishing, we’ll guide you through a short and practical session on how to clean and prepare your catch using traditional techniques.
Lunch on Shore: To wrap up the day, enjoy a hearty lunch featuring our standard menu: traditional fish soup and Norwegian waffles. Depending on the day’s catch, we’ll also prepare some of the fresh fish you brought in – no two meals are exactly the same.
Special Equipment (on request): If you need specific fishing equipment beyond what we typically provide, just send us your request in advance with the exact details. We’ll do our best to arrange it for you for an additional fee.
Footwear Tip: We recommend bringing footwear that is at least somewhat water-resistant to make sure you stay comfortable throughout your time on the boat and along the coast.
